I went in knowing nothing about perfumery and came out able to actually build a simple blend from top to base notes. The way the instructor breaks down scent families made everything click, and the exercises on layering citrus with woody bases were my favorite part.

Parfüm yapımına tamamen sıfırdan başladım ve bu kurs sayesinde koku ailelerini gerçekten ayırt edebilir hale geldim. Eğitmen üst, orta ve baz notaların nasıl bir araya geldiğini çok net anlatıyor, özellikle narenciye ile odunsu notaları harmanlama kısmı çok işime yaradı. İlk karışımımı yaptığımda kokunun zamanla nasıl değiştiğini fark etmek beni gerçekten şaşırttı. Tek eksik yanı, bazı bölümlerde malzeme tedariki konusunda daha fazla pratik ipucu verilebilirdi çünkü bazı esansları bulmak biraz uğraştırdı. Yine de genel olarak öğrendiklerim beklentimin çok üzerindeydi ve artık evde kendi karışımlarımı denemekten çekinmiyorum.

Solid introduction to fragrance blending that actually explains why certain notes pair well together instead of just listing recipes. My only gripe is the section on natural extraction methods felt a bit rushed compared to the rest, but the scent profile breakdowns more than made up for it.
