The airspace and regulations part cleared up so much confusion for me, I actually understand what I can and can't fly over now. Only thing is I wish there were a few more diagrams, since some of the flight patterns are hard to picture from text alone.

What I liked most is how it doesn't assume you already know the jargon. Terms like ND filters and the exposure triangle are explained in plain language before they get used, so I never felt lost.

I bought a cheap drone last year and it basically sat in a drawer because I was too scared to actually fly it near people or buildings. This walked me through everything from the very first hover to keeping it steady in a bit of wind. The section on exposure and shooting into the light made an immediate difference in my photos, they don't look washed out anymore. I took it to the coast last weekend and got a shot of the cliffs I'm honestly proud of. Wish I'd found something like this before wasting months being nervous.

The manual camera settings module was the part I was dreading and it turned out to be my favorite. Shutter speed and ISO finally make sense in the context of a moving drone, not just a normal camera.

Great foundation for someone who's never touched a drone before, and the flight basics stuck with me straight away. I did feel the later sections could go a little deeper into editing the footage afterwards, but for pure flying and shooting it does the job well.

I've watched a ton of random videos trying to learn this and always ended up more confused than when I started. Having it laid out in order, step by step, made the whole thing click. The part about planning your shot before you even launch changed how I think about aerial photography completely. I'm now framing things properly instead of just flying around hoping for a good angle. Genuinely the first resource that made me feel in control of the drone.

Coming in with zero experience, I found this really reassuring. It builds your confidence gradually instead of throwing you into complicated maneuvers, and by the end I was comfortable flying in open areas and getting some decent aerial video of the local park. The safety and battery management advice is genuinely useful and probably saved my drone a couple of times. My one wish is that it leaned a bit more visual, since it's all written and a short demo clip here and there would have helped with the trickier flight moves.

Really practical for a first-timer, the composition tips for shooting from above are things I never would have thought of on my own. My only small gripe is the pacing in the middle feels a bit slow if you already know how to handle a camera.
