Applied Veterinary Surgery: Complex Cases, Orthopedic Reasoning, and Postoperative Care

Complex surgical cases require integrated reasoning across diagnosis, surgical planning, and sustained postoperative care. This applied course teaches that integration through case-based modules. By the end of this course you will be able to reason through complex surgical case planning, apply orthopedic reasoning frameworks, plan sustained postoperative care, and coordinate with the broader medical team across surgical cases. Each module presents a complex scenario, walks through structured reasoning, and produces a written approach you compare against the worked-through example. This course is written for veterinarians deepening surgical practice. It does not replace supervised clinical training, internship training, or specialty mentorship. By the end you will have structured frameworks for complex veterinary surgical cases.
