Me pareció un curso muy honesto para padres que no sabemos nada de mandarín, con explicaciones simples de cada tono del pinyin. Algunas lecciones podrían tener más ejercicios de repetición, pero en general aprendí lo suficiente para practicar con mi hijo sin miedo a equivocarme. Ya notamos que reconoce mejor los sonidos cuando ve caracteres nuevos.

Çocuğuma Çince pinyin öğretmeye çalışırken kendim de hiçbir şey bilmediğim için epey zorlanıyordum, bu kurs tam da aradığım şeydi. Her tonu ayrı ayrı, sesli örneklerle anlatmaları sayesinde önce kendim öğrendim, sonra oğlumla birlikte pratik yapmaya başladık. Ders akışı hiç sıkıcı değil, kısa ve net videolarla ilerliyorsunuz. En çok beğendiğim kısım, dördüncü tonun neden bu kadar zor algılandığını basit örneklerle açıklamalarıydı. Birkaç hafta içinde oğlum artık basit hecelerdeki tonları kendi başına ayırt edebiliyor. Mandarin bilmeyen bir ebeveyn olarak bu kursu gerçekten işe yarar buldum.

Bilang magulang na wala talagang alam sa Mandarin, medyo kinabahan ako nang mag-enroll ako sa kursong ito para matulungan ang anak ko sa pagbasa ng pinyin. Sa unang mga leksyon pa lang, malinaw na sinabayan nila ang bawat tunog gamit ang simpleng paliwanag at maraming audio na puwedeng ulit-ulitin. Ang paraan ng pagtuturo ng apat na tono ay hindi nakakalito dahil isa-isa itong dinaan bago pinagsasama. Kasama ko ngayong nag-aaral ang anak ko tuwing gabi, at nakikita ko talaga ang pagbuti ng kanyang pagbigkas sa loob lang ng ilang linggo. Gustung-gusto ko rin na hindi ito puro teorya kasi puno ito ng praktikal na ehersisyo. Sulit talaga ang oras na ginugol dito para sa mga magulang na gustong maging aktibong kasama ng anak sa pag-aaral ng Chinese.

I signed up for this because my daughter started Mandarin lessons at school and I had zero idea how pinyin worked, let alone the tones. Within a couple of weeks I could actually sit with her and correct her pronunciation instead of just nodding along. My only complaint is that the section on tone pairs felt a bit rushed compared to the earlier lessons, so I had to replay it a few times. Still, it gave me enough confidence to practice with her every evening without feeling like a fraud. Would have liked a printable reference sheet for the tones, but that's a minor gap in an otherwise solid course.
