Zawsze gubiłam się przy pytaniu 'opowiedz coś o sobie' i odpowiadałam chaotycznie. Kurs pokazuje prosty schemat, dzięki któremu w minutę można powiedzieć to, co naprawdę ważne, bez zbędnego lania wody. Po kilku ćwiczeniach moja odpowiedź brzmiała naturalnie, a nie jak wyuczona formułka.
I used to ramble for five minutes when asked to introduce myself, so this course was exactly what I needed. The instructor breaks the pitch down into a simple structure: who you are, what you've done, what you want, and gives you time to practice out loud. My mock interview answer felt tight and confident by the end.

Antes de fazer esse curso eu simplesmente decorava um texto e travava se o entrevistador mudasse a pergunta. Aqui a lógica é diferente: você aprende a montar blocos de informação sobre sua trajetória e consegue rearranjar na hora, dependendo do que perguntarem. As aulas são curtas, então dá para assistir entre um compromisso e outro. Gravei meu pitch três vezes até soar natural e não decorado. Terminei o curso com um roteiro que uso até hoje antes de qualquer entrevista.
O curso é bem direto e ensina a organizar a fala em poucos passos: quem você é, o que já fez e o que busca. Fiz o exercício de gravar meu pitch e ouvir de novo, e isso mudou completamente minha forma de responder a essa pergunta em entrevistas. Agora sinto que consigo falar sobre mim sem enrolar.
