Applied Conflict Resolution: Recurring Disagreements, Teams, and Family Systems

Conflict resolution becomes truly useful when applied to the recurring disagreements of long relationships, the team conflicts at work, and the family systems that carry years of history. This applied course teaches that integration through case-based modules. By the end of this course you will be able to manage recurring relational conflicts, navigate team conflicts at work, engage with family system patterns, and sustain conflict resolution practice across years. What you will learn: - Approaches to perpetual conflicts in partnerships that may not be solvable but can be handled - Approaches to team conflicts at work including the role of process versus content - Approaches to family system patterns including triangulation and chronic roles - Approaches to conflict where power is uneven - Approaches to conflict in community and group settings - The role of mediation and external support - Sustained reflection and growth across years The course is structured around six applied modules. Each produces a written artifact: a perpetual conflict plan, a team conflict framework, a family system reflection, a power-aware approach, a community conflict plan, and a long-term reflection. This course is written for adults who want conflict skills to show up where they matter most. By the end you will have moved from learning techniques to applying them deliberately across the long arcs of relational and working life.
